The Center of Family Love (CFL) Teen Board is comprised of students from surrounding high schools in Oklahoma. Accepted on the basis of their applications, students meet once a month to break boundaries, transform lives, and build up talents by meeting with the residents and helping them discover abilities and passions that can make them mentors to the next generation of those conquering disabilities.
The Teen Board also fundraises for our residents, and hosts a spring event on the CFL campus to raise money for our residents that live at the Center of Family Love. Our goal for the teens is to complete the Teen Board with a sense of accomplishment. We hope that not only did they have a positive impact on our residents but that our residents had a positive impact on their lives. We hope that they remember those that conquer disabilities in whatever they do beyond high school and remember that everyone needs a hero.
